A kidnapping took place on 20th of September in Shantipur Assam-Bhutan border area in Chirang district, 2 brothers Ram Talwar & Lakshman Talwar while returning home from the Shantipur market place like everyday as they run a small tea stall out there. Ram Talwar managed to escape from the clutches of the miscreants and took refuge in the jungle while the other one failed to escape and taken away be the miscreants. A Police complaint has been lodged under Dhaligaon P.S.
