A late offering tonight, you wonderful folk..not long parked up.. Good evening..!!! Weve landed at Helmsdale..high up on the east coast of the Scottish Highlands..just a wee bumble of some 70 miles today, despite our late start..!! Thank you to the Matheson family again..(not related!!).. Heather and Kevin..for all your fantastic support and hospitality..and your so generous donation today.. Thank you, you are great people and wonderful friends.. And thank you, to YOU, for such a positive response, thus far, to my appeal earlier today.. Please keep the donations coming in.. It would be such a triumph to end this adventure on such a high, the two charities benefitting from all the efforts over the past five and a half months..with still the book to come..!!! Were just 50 miles or so from John OGroats..and by the looks of things, some rough weather to enjoy tomorrow..!!! The dram is poured and the heatings up..mixed emotions right now, as the end is in sight.. Thank you, for being with us, all this way..as we settle down for the night
