A lawyer from St.Petersburg Arcadii Tchapligin presented a petition to the city office of public prosecutor with a request to declare the Bible as an extremist literature and ban it for persons under 18....He explained to the Metro reporter, that to his mind Russian Orthodox Church use the Bible to make the Government issue some harmful laws, for example, one law bans childrens beauty contests... To my mind, even if he is trying to promote himself and his Party of Progress (??), the case is showing the monstrous lack of education, culture and common sense or their complete absence. Even communist regime never banned The Book (they just made it hardly available). Well, maybe, it is just another case of the spring exacerbation of paranoia, schizophrenia or whatever....Maybe, he is simply demons possessed?
