I am writing you this letter To tell you of my most difficult turn at the cross roads I looked to the left To the right Forward Then backward where you were And I took the one in front of me A look back made me think of you by the cross roads Thoughts of what could have been Of what we could have become Please don’t blame me of the road I took by the cross roads I did look back though and saw you But proceeded ahead It just seemed like we do not belong together Some say there is no going back I am not sure of that though If the way forward is the way back Maybe Just maybe, I will return The road ahead is a challenge It is filled with uncertainty that creates anxiety All of us have to take it one way or the other As difficult as it is I have to take my now By the cross I wish I can hold you on a promise A promise for you to be there whenever I need you Sometimes the road I am just about to take will be cold and lonely Will you be there? When the rivers run dry and I am thirsty Will you bring me a cup of water? It will be hot along the way Rainy at times Vultures will come out to devour me I will be far away from your comfort When I leave the cross roads Will you pray for me? 3 PAGES TO GO....Tedious and painful is a writers diary.
