A letter to the School Board and Superintendent I wrote tonight...if this concerns you as much as me, please attend this Tuesdays School Board Meeting. Obviously this is only my opinion! As a parents association, I hope this is an okay place to discuss! I fear our school board will rush this through, and deal with smoothing things over later with parents. Its outrageous. Hello All.... As you can easily assume, news is circulating throughout thePond Cover community about the possibility that Kelly Hasson’s contract may not be getting renewed. This School Board and Superintendent are notorious for acting first, and explaining later throughout the Pond Cove community, which will not be tolerated when it comes to a decision of this magnitude. Kelly Hasson is the heart and soul of Pond Cove. She is not only incredibly intelligent, progressive, and sensitive but has also EARNED the respect of the Pond Cove students, and parents. She is approachable and cares about the school and it’s community enormously. She is our schools greatest asset. If Kelly Hasson’s contract is not renewed, as parents, we will get to the bottom of why, and fully investigate the validity of the reasons. In addition, as parents, we would like the results of the survey from the beginning of the year released prior to this vote. Best, Sandy Shapiro-Hurt
