A little behind the scenes throwback of Nick Bullen filming for TMV. This night was crazy, the whole crew met up in Pontiac with intensions of filming stuff on the 18 stair for our parts. Nick wanted to film a switch ice on the 18 and Tyler and I planned on backing him up with a nollie pegs and a bar ice. When we all rolled up we all decided to warm up on this mellow rail out back of the school. Nick started throwing out ideas of wanting to try crank ice bars on a real setup, we all laughed about the idea until he had burnside grab the cam and he immediately started sending it. As you could imagine this maneuver was taking awhile (hours) and nicks frustration level was at an all time high. As the sun kept going down faster the idea behind being there in the first place kind of dwindled away and the crew was pretty unmotivated. Nick was pretty beat up and with every try he started to get further away from landing it, than out of no where right before the sun set he stuck it. As soon as he got in the ice...you knew this is it . After collecting ourselves, I brought up the idea of lighting up the 18. No one seemed into it besides burnside and I so we headed out front after the sun was down and started setting up. Tyler and I started riding it and I immediately wanted to get the nollie pegs done but riding that rail at night is mad scary ( the run up and landing were pitch black and its a steep 18 stair, also this was my first real nollie to rail). First go I did a nollie into the stairs and got a flat. After that happening we kind of called it and turned off the lights as I fixed my bike. Something didnt feel right about walking away from that trick that, I almost felt obligated to get it done. We turned the lights back on and I did a few more speed checks, hugged the homies and sent it! Everything worked first go and just like that everyone was motivated again. Tyler called out bar ice on that rail a few months prior and we had a verbal agreement that if I did the nollie hed back me with the bar ice. He proceeded to ice it 7 times in a role than gave us the ok and sent the bar ice at about 2 am. Everyone went ape shit! Seriously woke up the next day feeling like last night was a dream. Getting to see everyone battle to get the trick they wanted that night was epic and scary to say the least | #themichiganvideo #remembertmv | : @squidgraphixs
