A little boy asks his father to explain politics to him. The father thinks about it a short time and then says: I go out to work and bring the money, so I am capitalism. Your mother takes the money, and buys everything we need, so shes the government. The maid we have does all the housework, so she is like the working class. Your granddad represents the workers union, as he always looks that nothing bad happens. You represent the people, as we take good care of you. And your little brother upstairs, he represents the future, we always care just for his future. Do you understand that? The boy replies, he has to sleep about it. At night, the boy wakes up as his brother is crying as he filled his nappies. So he gets up to wake the mother. However, she is sleeping and cannot be woken, so he goes to look for his father. He however, is just doing the maid, and granddad is standing in front of the window watching. So the boy has to leave his brother crying and goes back to bed. The next morning, daddy asks if he understood politics now. The boy answers: Yes: the government is sleeping and cannot be woken up. Capitalism abuses the working class while the unions are watching.
