A little good news from the Doc today. Being as this was my first set of chemo I made it through she normally doesnt rely to much on the outcome. Wont have my tumor marker results till Friday but the only way she would change my current treatment is if the marker numbers escalated like crazy. She told me she was worried since nothing has been successful. Then we did my exam- Breast first. All of a sudden I can see the concern lift from her face. She said Its gone, that there had been a new hard mass to the left of my original tumor at my last exam. (something she failed to mention then). She said right now it doesnt matter what my markers might show cause its working. That we are staying on course with this chemo agent. She said this was the best news we could hope for to see real proof. She also remarked that I look a lot better then last time she saw me a couple weeks ago. The negative news is that my white blood cells are currently 0.3. So I got an increased dose Neupogen shot today and will again on Thursday and Monday. Have to hope and pray thatll do the job so I can start my second set of chemo next Tuesday. The goods news however far out weighs the negative. Just gotta keep it going.
