A little insight into what trucks do to cars when they have there braking distance reduced due to car drivers jumping into that big gap we purposely leave to be able stop there for avoiding fatal accidents like the one today on the M56 as shown in this short video, it isnt a nice sight but as HGV drivers we see it on a regular basis, Ive posted this video not to scare people but make them aware that gap is there for a reason, you move into the gap without warning an serious consequences happen, I dont want that to happen to any of my friends an family, people will blame the truck driver for killing those people, that walking floor trailer an truck would probably be weighing in the region of 44 ton compared to your 1 ton car, never in a million years did he have a chance of stopping, but more to the point what about that driver, he has to live with that for the rest of his life an chances are he wont get behind the wheel again hence no work no money, long term mental issues, and the parents or relatives of the people in the car have to live with there loss, so please dont let it be you give the truck room RIP to the 2 people that lost there lives today
