A little melancholic tonight. Tomorrow is my moms birthday. Even though she has been gone well over a decade, not a day goes by that I dont think about her in some way. She loved us all with that unconditional love that only comes from a mom (or maw maw to the boys). There were days I would accuse her of loving Zach more than me and still not sure to this day that she didnt!!! Well probably not as much, but she loved him. If she loved you she loved you fiercely and with passion and would fight the world for you ( so some of you see where I get my passion from)! I am so grateful that Micheal got to know her just a little and mom loved her immediately just because Brandon loved her! She would have adored Kim and her love of cooking, not to mention that Scott could do no wrong so if Kim loved Scott, mom would have loved her!! I cant imagine the joy that Cohen and Harper would have given her. I know that this earth cannot compare with the joys of heaven and I know that she is there and that makes heaven even more special. I hope she knows the legacy she left! If we love like she did, then we are all better for it. My sense of family and my passion for my family is from her. So today Happy Birthday Mom. I love you and miss you everyday. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to each of us! May we be just a little better in this life because of who you were and are!
