A little off topic for just once (although it is not Madagascar it is not far from why we were there, most of us.) God is fulfilling their dream! Dixon and Christiana have been invited to serve as missionaries in Tanzania. Prepared and excited to serve, they have raised a significant amount of money in Nigeria to support them in their new ministry in Tanzania. However, they still need some help. As such, we’ve started a crowd-funding project to supplement their needs. What is “crowd-funding”? “Crowd-funding” is where a need is put out there on the internet so anyone can contribute. People can give any amount, from $1 to $1,000 and more. Global Lutheran Outreach is partnering with Wheatridge in this crowdfunding effort to send Dixon and Christiana as missionaries. Donations are made through the Wheatridge crowdfunding site: weraise.wheatridge.org/campaign/detail/3667 . When you make a donation, it is like a pledge. Your donation will not be collected until the crowdfunding project ends, near the end of January. The key is to get a lot of people involved.
