A little snippet from my story "Fringes," which releases TOMORROW from Wilde City Press... “Strip,” Tal rasped, and Jace’s gaze snapped up to meet Tal’s. “Slow. I want to watch you.” Jace kept his eyes locked with Tal’s as he lowered himself to one knee, untying his boots and sliding them off one at a time, leaving on the thick socks as protection against any debris that might remain on the floor. He rose back to his feet at the same languid pace and reached for his belt buckle, drawing it open, and then, as an idea sparked, he pulled the belt off completely and tucked the buckle into his palm, wrapping the canvas length around his hand. “I think,” he said, stepping toward the back end of the table, “that maybe somebody needs remindin’ of who’s in charge here.”
