A little trivia: In moroccan we dont have a word for I love you, - TopicsExpress

A little trivia: In moroccan we dont have a word for I love you, very few people in certain régions use it, and its mostly a term borrowed from algerians. In moroccan we say TANBGHIK which means I want you. kind of like te quiero in spanish. I dont know where Im going with this but I guess I will miss certain things about Morocco, things that I can still take with me to Montréal. Like almond & honey pasteries :p On a more serious note: My little sister and my lovely brother-in-law have happily settled down in Istanbul and Im very happy that they are persuing their dream and that its working out for them. But I love them aka I want them. Close by. I miss them a lot for my best times spent in Morocco were with them. Thank God for Skype but as much as it brings you closer to those you love it also leaves you with nostalgia. Other serious things: I will miss the friends and people I met here. I will miss the food but losing the extra pounds will do me some good hehe. This long note is to say that coming to Morocco to rest after I found out about my illness was probably the best thing I could have done. It helped me sort things out for my 30s and now I know not only what I love but also what i want.
