A little under the weather but today is a 2 job day so I was feeling like a sweat would do me good. This morning I rowed to Kimbra and took my pup for a run to The Strokes. Took my time, cleared my head, started my day well. Thats the rad thing about exercise for health (mental and physical), it doesnt have to be about what body parts I worked today. I dont have to stress that Im off my plan. I can listen to my body and what it needs. I can enjoy it for its own sake. And see what each days perfect will be. Theres nothing wrong with working on your physique if you enjoy that. I hope you also pay attention to the immediate benefits as well. But the idea that exercise is just about changing your body or needs to be done some perfect way is so limiting. Movement is good for your body and its good for your soul. Regardless of your plans or your goals, dont miss that part. xo
