A long time friend asked me what I was up to so I am going to try to make a weekly update here. Please unfriend me fast if you arent interested in this kind of stuff. I started off this week in Palo Alto where I got wonderful checkups from Drs at Stanford Hospital for my sleep apnea and kidney transplant medical adventures. Had two wonderful flights there and back in private planes flown by pilots from angelflightwest.org . I even flew the plane for a couple of minutes! But my dominant concern has, as it has been for the last month or two, getting a working home computer. This week it was trying to install a new video card which I am returning after a day or two of struggles. Now its installing the Net framework so I can make Quicken load and find out where my money is going!. My latest move is to seek professional help by offering Quicken Support money to fix it. So far no response. Still enjoying swimming and meeting wonderful people in the pool. I would appreciate receiving comments and suggestions on whether you you like these posts. They might encourage me to do more of this! John
