A look at God (Paul Quigley, Mike Grimes, Carlos Ramos, Ed Rapacki) rehearsing in my Queens studio Bizarreland in 88, prepping some new material for their final show at Heaven in East Northport. Cool for me to see those studio walls I had decorated, and all the old gear....this is one of three Bizarreland rehearsal videos (I previously posted Red Temple Spirits 89 and Concrete Witchdoctors 86). Anyway, God were awesome and its a shame they werent based somewhere other than late-80s New York. If they had been given the chance to put out something, say on Amphetamine Reptile or Touch & Go, I think they wouldve done really well as their material compares nicely to stuff like Butthole Surfers and Jesus Lizard.
