Remember if you are out in the sun that uv levels will be very high, so youll begin to burn in a short period of time. So dont forget your sun screen. Also dont forget our pets, especially cats who love laying in the sun. If they are white or light in colour sunscreen applied to theyre ears will stop them from burning. Also please dont leave dogs unattended in cars even for a short time. This weather can kill!!! Finally check on elderly relatives and neighbours, try to get them to open windows to let some air circulate. Many older people worry about being burgled and wont have windows open because of this reason. Encourage them to drink fluids other than hot drinks. As we get older our bodies dont keep work as well as they once did in keeping us cool. We lose the abilty to sweat the bodies natural cooling mechanism.
