A lot of miles on when of the windiest days of riding I have ever been on. Some gusts were so strong I had to unclip my pedals because all forward momentum was in danger of ceasing , and me toppling over. A lot of gusts were blowing my front wheel around, in other words , Not a good day to be riding a bike. I however was not the only crazy bicyclist as I saw 3 others braving the howling winds of October. Some 5 K race was just concluding as I passed through the Franklin trail head, looked like they had a good turnout. New building in Rouseville, it went up quick.
