A lot of people ask me why I spell dancer like danca instead of dansa. Well heres a fun fact on where I originated the word danca from 6 years ago. In 2007, I joined Facebook and my name on Facebook was my First name.... Then Blacka... Then my last name. In 2009, I wanted to take my real name off of social media, so I logged into my Facebook account and attempted to change my name. I tried only two names. First name Blacka, last name Dancer, but Facebook required a middle name. I then tried Blacka The Dancer but I didnt like how it flowed. I then tried Blacka Da Dancer, but again, it just didnt seem natural to me... I tried Blacka Di Dansa but because Blacka has a letter c in it, having an s in Dansa didnt feel natural to my name. So then I typed in Blacka Di Danca. I had to look at it for a day or two.... And then I started to like it. And it stuck. So thanks to Facebook and its stupid rules, thats why I started to spell dancer like Danca 6 years ago. Its amazing to see how far one word could go. Im aware of the language differences, mainly in Latin America, but its pronounced Dan-sah and not Dan-ka. ;)
