A lot of people dont like to talk about Satan they would rather just forget about it because certain things might just seem too scary. But the fact still remains That Satan lurks seeking to devour us, 2 straight up take us out. Thats why it is so crucial that we as Christians as believers take shelter under Gods Almighty power, we must stay within its shade. What good will a mighty rock do if we sit in the open Sun? that is to say, if we wander away from Gods protection by venturing into the heat of temptation, we should not be surprised when our faith grows faint and we stumble and fall into sin. we are weak in ourselves, our strength lies in the rock of Gods Almightiness .It should be our constant habitation. The enemys attempt to draw us into sin causes our inner conflict but if we choose to obey God, he gives us success in these situations. Then we are empowered to battle outwardly dispelling the powers of darkness and setting other captives free. the apostle Paul said that he disciplined his body so that sins of his flesh would not cause him to lose that inner battle and disqualify him from doing the Lords work. 1st corinthians 9:26-27 Despite peoples love for God, they lose the inner fight. they walk out from under the shelter of the rock. which is Gods all mighty power! God has given us the tools that we need to defeat our adversary the devil. we have the full armor of God. ephesians 6:11. so not only have we been told that we have an enemy that seeks to destroy us but we have been given the tools that we need to be overcomers!!! we can triumph if we choose to obey His instructions. Dont choose to walk in your own selfish ways. Instead submit to Gods plan and purpose. dont allow the enemy to gain a foothold in your life. Be self-controlled and alert!!!
