A lot of people have asked me about my dad an his results from the pet scan the other day. I am writing this in regards that you will pray with me and my family, we are at a cross road an very confused and hurt at the same time, I can only imagine the emotions an feelings flooding through my daddy. The doctor walked in and said the pet scan had came back positive for cancer but she was concerned because it was showing up all throughout both lungs an also up in the top of the lungs in the lymph nodes. She said if it were cancer an all over the lungs like it were showing that he should be dead right now and that it also should have done spread to the liver or bones but everywhere was clear. She basically said when whoever came up with the pet scans back along time ago they wasnt from this region nor knew of black lung so that could make a false reading for the pet scan, so with that being said that just says his lungs are just gone anyways from the black lung its all throughout it. Still it doesnt rule out that some of that showing up isnt cancer so he goes back for a CT scan in 3 months to see if anything is growing. So I ask for each an every person that takes the time to read this to send up a special prayer for my dad, he is confused that this is showing cancer when he has other friends who have black lung thats had this an it not test positive, plus having to wait 3 months to find out anything for someone that is such a worry wart as he is he will drive himself crazy. Just please pray that everything will be okay an to let The Lord give him a peace of mind of all this. I have set my mind that one day The Lord is going to call him home just like he will every one of us, so for the time being of havin him now I am not wasting it by worrying but instead Im going to enjoy every day God gives me with him.
