A lot of people have been arguing over Amendment 2 and medical marijuana today. I think its completely mediocre that some teens are promoting YesOn2 because they think somehow their weed smoking will be justified if some sort of marijuana is legalized. I, however, did vote yes on 2 because I am a daughter of a cancer patient who lost his battle in 2009, and I do believe that if he would of had access to the benefits of marijuana, things would of been a lot different. Maybe he couldve kept his food down, the little he could feed himself, maybe he wouldve been in a lot less pain, maybe hed think more positively rather than being terrified, and maybe he would of had just a little more time on earth. So if you think that Amendment 2 for legalizing medical marijuana is bullshit, that is your opinion and it may not benefit you in any way but think of the benefits it could give someone else. There are people who do want better for other people, and I do not want to see others suffer the way I have seen with my own eyes. If legalizing a plant takes away just a little bit of pain for people who suffers from an illness, then it has my vote.
