A lot of people have been asking me for my testimony so here it - TopicsExpress

A lot of people have been asking me for my testimony so here it is. I was born into a very nonreligious religious family. We were Presbyterians. I was raised reading the Revised Standard Bible. (The Bible paraphrased and heavily watered down) Because my father was a chemical engineer who worked for DuPont we were transferred every 4 to 6 years so I lived in many different places growing up. In June 1968 I graduated from DuPont High School and I joined the United States Marine Corps. I graduated from Marine Boot Camp in Dan Diego, California and was sent to Camp Pendleton for Infantry training as a Marine Rifleman (0311). In March 1969 I was sent to Vietnam where I served with Hotel Company 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division. While in Vietnam I was pushed beyond human endurance on more that one occasion. In short yes I killed a whole lot of people. After I had completed my tour of duty in Vietnam I was stationed at Albany Georgia, Washington D.C. and finally retired out of Camp LeJeune after I was injured and given a medical discharge. While I was stationed in Washington I met and married my first wife. While we were at Camp LeJeune we had our first child Mary. During this time I wanted very little to do with religion any religion. As a matter of fact whenever anyone started talking about religion around me I would get very uptight as I would attack their beliefs and put down their religion. I was very proud of the fact that I had broken all 10 of the Commandments of God at least 5 times each. I was also very proud of the fact that I had caused several Christians to lose their faith and reject everything to do with their religion. There are those who think Paul was the sinners sinner. They had not run into me. I was way worse the Paul could even imagine. While Pauls claim to fame was killing Steven my claim to fame was killing between 20 and 50 Christians souls. I( was one very bad apple. After I was released from the Marines I took my family to Nashville Tennessee for about a year. Then after my wife was pregnant with her second child we moved to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where there was a promise of a better job waiting for me and her family was in Pittsburgh. Upon arriving in Pittsburgh I was offered several very good jobs. Then the unthinkable happened the Steel mills laid off over 36,000 workers and the job market in Pittsburgh died. .So there I was with no job, a very pregnant wife and a 4 year old. Needless to say I did whatever it took to get through every month. Which included cashing in on my Veterans benefits. The VA paid my books/supplies, tuition and gave me a living expense. Not only that but shortly after our second child was born my wife got a job working at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh as a Ward Secretary. Things were finally starting to look up for us when my wife became involved in a local Church. Knowing my adversity to religion she would leave the radio turned on to Christian radio stations. After warning her several times what I would do if I came home and a Christian radio station was blasting on my radio. So one day as I entered our house sure enough she had left the radio on and Kenneth Copeland was teaching. Well I had had a very hard day at college and I was NOT IN THE MOOD. (To be continued)
