A lot of people might now know that this country has had a love hate relationship with socialism since it founding. Good people over the first couple centuries tried DOZENS of ALL KINDS of socialist communities... IN THIS COUNTRY... Some were very famous even unto Europe.... There was a FATAL FLAW in all experiments and it made no difference how these good people put their hearts in to it... I think they should be teaching this history in the School systems. Why try to repeat experiments that have been tested long ago. Some of these socialist experiments would not even be allowed today? For instance, some communities of 1500 to a few thousand people tried very extreme Socialist models where each person owned everything. Even the wives, husbands and children were all owned by every other person equally. I dont think they would allow that today....
