A lovely afternoon spent chatting to residents at Goodwin Close - TopicsExpress

A lovely afternoon spent chatting to residents at Goodwin Close Retirement Village in Blackburn South. I was also joined by residents from neighbouring Barrina Gardens Retirement Village, including Managers Franz and Pam Nel. The conversation covered the increase in public transport efficiency and decrease in over-crowding over the last four years under the Napthine Government, the introduction of PSOs on rail stations and the overwhelming positive effect that has had on community law and order, the Napthine Governments plans for the Melbourne and Airport Rail Links, the construction of the Forest Hill Police Station and local sporting and community facility upgrades, including the Nunawading Swimming Club clubroom upgrade and the Vermont Mens Shed expansion. Thank you especially to Goodwin Close Manager Rosemary Seymour for the warm welcome and the scrumptious home-cooked afternoon tea.
