A lovely letter written in Cambridge News Yesterday about our hospital, Thank you Janet : Deserved praise for NHS staff From time to time our NHS receives bad press from one reason or another. Just over a year ago our world was turned upside down when my husband was diagnosed with a life threatening aggressive cancer. It is due to the speed at which it was diagnosed and treated that he is enjoying good health today. How lucky we are to live on the doorstep of such a great hospital, Addenbrooke’s. Each and every member of staff we had contact with were amazingly caring, so important when you are feeling so fragile and vulnerable, we can’t thank them all enough. Our grateful thanks in particular go to the wonderful consultants and their team in the urology department- where would we be without their skills? I would also like to say a big thank you to the doctors, nurses and receptionists at Fulborn Health Centre who have been very kind, caring and supportive and continue to be so, we are eternally grateful to them all.
