A major reason I am a huge Grateful Dead fan and eventually also got into Phish & the live music scene altogether, was due to the profound impact of seeing Crazy Fingers at The Wharf as a 14 year old in high school. It was where I let loose & got down in a live setting for the first time, got my first live tapes, experienced my first drum circle, and made so many friends sharing a common vibe & light. It shaped my life forever. Just the comfort of knowing we could all go see our favorite trusty Dead cover band every week for the last 20 plus years was SUCH a treasure & a gift. We were all so lucky to have that. Tears stream down my face right now as I contemplate this heavy loss impacting an entire community. Corey Dwyer, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the last 18 years of nonstop music & magical memories. To say you made a gigantic difference in the lives of countless people & will be terribly missed by many would be an understatement. We are all better off by far because you existed, and you will live on forever in our hearts. All my love
