A man came up to me after the class I was speaking to at Legacy Christian Church. He introduced himself and said hed spent four months on KCRMs recovery program a few years ago. Hes been clean for three years now, and has been going to Legacy for several months. G said hes been moving forward steadily, even though he gets lonely and is tempted to use again. Then he showed me a notebook full of various documents: one had a list of quotes hed picked up along the way, including Joe Colaizzis favorite quote, Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing. He showed me an inspiring poem given to him by Ann, a volunteer at KCRMs Mens Center library and another from Dr. Jerri Sapp, another volunteer. The notebook was filled with stories, articles, quotes and poetry -- and he carried it everywhere he went, referring to it when he got discouraged. You never know what Gods going to use to help a person stay on track. Dont hold back -- share His Word, your thoughts, gentle guidance, tough but loving words. They make a difference! —Julie
