A man is being treated after reportedly being stabbed in south west Sydney this morning. Emergency services were called to a home in Macquarie Links Drive at Macquarie Links, about 6.30am today (Monday 9 June 2014), after a call to Triple Zero (000) reported a man had been stabbed. They found a man who had sustained a stab wound to his torso; he was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition. Police have been told the man may have been stabbed some hours before, but the circumstances surrounding the incident are still being clarified. At this time, no crime scene has been located and inquiries are continuing.
