A man pulls a weapon on you in front of dozens of witnesses in a crowded bar, makes obvious threats to your life, so its obviously a clear cut case of self defense of you pull your weapon and shoot him before he shoots you. So, why on earth would anyone feel it necessary to tamper with the security camera footage to make it appear that the bounty hunter shot first? It just wasnt necessary. Furthermore, it was a pretty bad attempt at evidence tampering, as the angle of the first shot defied the laws of physics. At least they could have tried to make it somewhat convincing.
