A man walks into a corner diner, getting out of the cold weather, he walks up to the bar and orders a coffee. The diner was kind of crowded so the man kept to himself and sipped his coffee. There was two empty stools next to him when up came a young couple, late 20s or early thirties. As they sat down next to the man, the husband strikes up a conversation with the man, Eh, a little cold outside there pal. The man nods his head and says, uh, yeah its freezing out. Then the wife chimes in, showing off her ring, We just got married!, the man responds, congratulations maam. The husband introduces himself as George and the wifes name is Gladys. The man starts to warm up and starts to talk more and more with this sweet young couple. Two hours past the man and the couple were laughing and having a great time, then George and Gladys got up and told the man it was a pleasure sitting and talking, threw down a tip and then left. The man smiled and said to the waitress, That was a sweet, young couple. The waitress said what sweet young couple?. Puzzled, the man said, The young couple that was sitting next to me, you waited on them George and Gladys. The waitress said, Are you trying to be funny, I didnt wait on George and Gladys, George and Gladys owned this place, they died in a car wreck ten years ago! The woman pointed at the picture on the wall.......
