A man will appear in court today on theft, driving and drug charges, following an incident on Monday at Mile End South where a pedestrian was injured. The arrested man allegedly stole a yellow Commodore from Manchester Street Mile End South, speeding from the scene narrowly missing a male pedestrian. Sturt Detectives last night located the Commodore at a Seaton home and arrested a 23-year-old man from Hope Valley. Police also allegedly found a small amount of substance believed to be methamphetamine in the car. The man has been charged with theft, drive to cause harm and trafficking a controlled drug, he was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
