A marriage certificate is not what unites 2 souls but it is worth celebrating the steady, inevitable progress that is being made each day toward equality. Marriage Equality has always been a Human Rights issue and as each state and country implements laws which acknowledge that love is love, regardless of the gender of those who have committed their lives to each other, there will be a healthy shift in social perceptions that can only serve to ultimately eradicate the delusional notion that one loving relationship has more validity and worth than another. Or am I being too idealistic? The simple truths are hardest for the tunnel-visioned supremacists to accept. Repost this if you agree. Comment either way.
