A massive thank you to everybody that turned up yesterday! At times, horrible weather but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It was a pleasure to have some of the Maguire family attending and a special thank you to Machaela Regan for the donation of the beautiful flowers which were presented to the Maguire family on behalf of everyone involved in both organised events. I know the flowers were greatly received by the family. Thank you also to Michala Rothery for all your hard work, support and help you gave throughout the planning and on the day. Frankie Geyerhosz and Emily Geyerhosz did a brilliant job with the cakes, buns and cookies etc. and managed to raise a great deal of money. Jess Tunnicliff did a fantastic job with the photography and is currently liaising with the Yorkshire Evening Post to publish photos of the event. Thank you Megan Geyerhosz for overall keeping the event running smoothly and Tracy Place for pestering everyone for donations who did a great job in doing so. A massive thanks to Jeni French and the Yorkshire Amateur FC staff who hosted the event and did a amazing job keeping everyone fed and watered. To the teachers that participated and attended the fundraising event, I just would like to express my gratitude and respect to you all. It was a real pleasure to have you there and taking part in the event. Overall for the number of people that attended, it was a successful day. However, to say I was disappointed with the turnout is an understatement, but regardless we raised well above our target and the final figures will be released after the auction of the signed England Ladies/Mens Under 17 shirts and the Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway tickets. Once again, thank you to everyone body connected with this event and all your generous donations!! Im sure you can all appreciate it was a great success. Nathan
