A message for all followers of our Facebook page, not just those within our own Community. How can we get better? It is obvious that many, somehow, miss the importance of the moral, ethical and natural response to serve a community. I am sure we can all find excuses why serving our community is not possible. Somehow, simple creatures (ants, bees, primates, elephants, etc.) come to a realization that "community" is of the utmost importance and that passing on the understanding of giving back to their community, their like-kind creatures and their offspring, is of the highest priority for survival and of growth of the community. Somehow, humans, the highest, most advanced creature ever known, miss these realizations and understandings. A simple 2 hours, or even less, spent giving back to, just not your community, but the communities of others, can not only provide a positive inspiration to people in our community, but can also provide multitudes of children in our own community and all those communities we have the opportunity to serve, with a well-grounded, focused and enforced sense of service to their own communities and beyond. I ask: Have you given back? Have you set a good example? Have you prepared the next generation to be as good, if not better, than yours? Have you set a benchmark for those within your generation or, more importantly, a benchmark for the next generation who will hopefully establish at least the same for your children and your grandchildren? Have you set the example for the next generation to make their own positive imprint on their community and society overall? We can help provide you a way to give back; a way to serve; a tool for being an example to our next generation on how a community gives back to itself and the higher priority of giving back to society.
