A message from Carol Hall: On May the 8th I met a man named Ion Mihale. Ion and his wife Mikalee are from Romania and he asked for my help. Mikalee has lung cancer and it has moved into her spine. The Dr.s have given her a short time to live. She has been in the US about 1 year and is not a citizen. She wants to go home and be with her Mother, daughter, and family in the time she has left. The airfare from Dallas to Bucharest is $1945.00 and that is what Ion has asked for help with. The time for her to leave is May 18th, this is for one person, one-way, one flight stop, and 13 hours long. It will be very hard for her as she is getting weak and in a lot of pain. Ion works at the Robertson prison unit and has been there for 5 months, and he is a citizen of the US having been here for about 10 years . If you can help, contact Carol Hall or Mission Abilene. Funds can be made payable to Mission Abilene and then will be disbursed when Makalees airline ticket is purchased.
