A message from Rabbi Mark Levin: There was a shooting incident at the Jewish Community Center and at Village Shalom. We have been told that the suspect is in custody. There is a report of at least two deaths. Beth Torah is closed, and all individuals have left safely. We understand that all Jewish sites have had police visits. No incident occurred at our property. We will keep you informed as we hear more about the reasons this occurred. Our prayers go out to all who have experienced this tragedy. May God bring comfort and hope to the victims and their families. This is a very difficult time, and our best response is to support those who have suffered a loss, and be alert for those who are feeling threatened and grieving. This is a time for this community to come together. As we know more, we will communicate again. Our goal is to keep everyone informed and safe.
