A message from Tania, about this very special dog - Ive grown up around animals my whole life. Ive always loved them, and to this day working with animals remains my passion. Ive seen many dogs come and Ive seen many dogs go. Ive seen the saddest of situations, to the happiest of moments and every thing in between. We have always wanted the best for every dog that comes through our gates, and our greatest joy comes when they finally find a home to call their own. Our greatest fear is that they stay with us forever and never know what it truly feels like to be wanted by someone other than us. We have been very fortunate to have had many successful adoptions, and although being in the spotlight has never been what we have actually wanted, it has been one of the main reasons we have been able to find amazing homes for a lot of amazing dogs. That being said, I still walk through the warehouse daily and ask myself how are you still here? There are so many dogs that we have had for YEARS, that have been overlooked dozens and dozens of times. I dont understand, I dont think I will never understand. This is Brandi. She might be the sweetest thing to have ever walked the planet. She has been my favorite for years. Unfortunately, by no fault of her own, she has been one of the many that has been by passed by so many people. We have shown her countless times, yet, she continues to wait here until someone special walks through these gates and finally notices her. Not too long ago we showed Brandi again for a potential adopter. I took her out of her kennel, had a little pep talk, and there we went. She had on her best smile, put on her cutest of struts, held her head up high, and as usual, owned the room the second we walked through the door. I thought to myself Today is the day....finally Yet again, the glass slipper didnt seem to fit for the adopters, and I felt my heart breaking. I looked at Brandi and smiled. I walked her back down stairs, had another pep talk with her and promised her one thing: I wasnt going to let her down. So I decided to do a little something different. Something very special for a dog that deserves the world. I am starting a Team Brandi campaign. I am not going to stop until she finally gets the home that she deserves. The thought of her being here with us for the rest of her life rips my heart out. She will be going out on a national tour with my family and our P Word Tour. As we travel to various cities across the country, Brandi will be looking for that special someone. Of course she will love the attention of meeting everyone and pose for photo ops, but all she really wants is that special someone to love her the way she deserves to be loved. So everyone....Meet Brandi. All it took for me was just one look, and I knew. This is only the beginning for her. And whoever gets to make Brandi a part of their family will be the luckiest in the world. So Brandi, heres to you, heres to us....I wont let you down :) If you are interested in adopting Brandi, please fill out an application at vrcpitbull. She needs to be in a home with NO other pets. Please do not rule out this dog if you live far away...we have transports coming up all over the country.
