A message from me,,Jaine McPherson the founder of ASAR,, i just want to say a very sincere thank you to everyone who has donated to this charity,wether its their time,items for the charity shop,money donations & also to the ones who gave a loving forever home to some of our horses & dogs,, all of this is so very much appreciated as we could not continue to do what we do without your valued support,, what DO we DO,,, well mostly rescue horses,remove horses from situations that are failing them,we have retired ex-riding school horses,lets be honest where do the old ones go?? We have also supported people in the community that for no fault of their own,ill health,financial changes,cannot keep their horses but for reasons their horses are not rehomable, too old, unsound ect,wee sallys(above pic)owners health deteriorated & she wasnt able to care for Sally & her 3 companions so we were approached & agreed to help,,most of the horses we have are not rideable & a most of them require a lot of veterinary care so again this makes rehoming them really impossible ,, i intended to have a rescue but i think we are more becoming a sanctuary as we dont move many on for all the above reasons,, we do our best to help rehome dogs & cats & will support other rescues if we can,we also have Ex-Commercial hens that were rescued by Homes4Hens & we are heading to the markets to get some Turkeys before they end up as Xmas dinner,, this folks is an insight into what we really do and anyone who would like to visit us,volunteer with us & donate to us,,, is very much appreciated,, sincerely,,, Regards Jaine
