A message just for you: October 30th 2013 9) Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10) How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. Abraham received the Promise before he received the sign in the flesh: How come you are still waiting on a sign? Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness sake. You said that God has called you in to the ministry, what are you waiting on? Stop looking around to see what others are doing. You do what the Lord has called you to do. The signs and wonders will follow when you step out by Faith and do what you say the Lord has called you to do. Abraham received the promise and moved out on the promise, circumcision came later. If you say you are the Lord’s sheep how come you are not following Him? These things are accomplished by Faith. Nothing is ever there when you start out. For instance; if you have to climb, you look around for a ladder, and you can’t find a ladder, stool or two bricks to put together. God will put a ladder, or something there to lift you up, but you will not see it until you step out on Faith. If you have to dig and there is nothing there to dig with, start digging with your hands, and God will put a shovel there, it will only show up when you start digging. The resources you need to accomplish Gods’ Will are activated by Faith. Abraham was told by God to slay Isaac, He started up the mountain to do God’s will and God had a Ram coming up on the other side to meet Abraham. If Abraham had not showed up on the mountain to do God’s will, there would be no need for the Ram to be coming up on the other side to meet him, end of story. Abraham’s Faithful obedience to God’s leading caused that Ram to come up on the other side. Your calling maybe not be in the pulpit, it doesn’t mean it is not ministry work. You have to work the gift God gave you, perhaps it is baking, sewing, planting, outreach, etc. You have to know what your gift is and work it. It will be a manifestation of God’s Goodness towards His children. Everyone do not need a microphone, perhaps some baking pans, some fabric, or a new garden tool. Case in point: Last year I had asked a lady to bake me a cake, I said to her if I buy the ingredients would you bake me a cake? She said no honey you don’t need to do all that I don’t mind. But I said I would buy some of the ingredients and she said okay, only if you want to. I went to the store and purchase some of the items, (She is like my mother I’ll give you the basic, but not my secret recipe). It was the talk of the event, I hosted. Sometime this year, I was sitting at home watching TV, and the Lord said “Sow into Mrs. So-so ministry (she will have to testify to her name) Go and buy cake flour, butter and flavor and give it to her). I did exactly what the Lord said. When I got to the Lady’s house with my seed, she was so surprise. I told her what the Lord had said to me, and she looked at me with amazement and said I’ve never thought of it as ministry. I like baking sweets for people. I gave her my gift and we prayed and I left. Fast forward to the next week and the lady ran me down, mind you she was in a car, I was walking and somebody came up on my right said in a car, she was coming up on my left, she was determined to talk to me, another car came up behind her and forced her to move, she pulled up on somebody’s grass and was getting out of the car, I left the conversation on the right and went to meet her. She said “honey I want to tell you what the Lord said to me yesterday. I’ve been looking for you. She said the Lord told her all the sweets she bakes and gives away is ministry. This is her ministry.” She said she couldn’t believe it, but was so pleased that God had called her into the ministry”. She hugged me so many times within that conversation, and words were just spilling out of her mouth. The lady is much older than me, and had been serving all this time and she said no one ever told her it was ministry work, and if they did she did not hear them, but when I came to her house that day with the bag, and said what I said. She could not shake what I had said, she later prayed over it that evening. Now back to you: If you are looking to others to see how God is leading them, you need not to worry or concern yourself with that matter, because you are the only one He is leading in that manner. Oh yes He is leading others, but not in the way He is leading you. This is a matter between you and Him and He is trying to take you to the other side. You do not have to sing like so and so, you do not have to go to a certain church or live in a certain community. God is looking for someone to show off His Glory. Is it you? Romans 8:29 (KJV) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. You are predestined for this: God already knew you and called you to do this, if you are looking for a sign, it is coming up on the other side of your obedience. The two of you should meet at the place God destined you to be. But there would be no need for a sign if you fail to act on what God has told you. Mind you not what He told me, but what He told you! God is going to take you places, if you will trust His leading. Proverbs 18:16 Its not always what it looks like but it is what God says it is.
