A message to my Ride Donors: So, yeah ... in time I had to find a solution to this. Many of you donated to my ride for the chance to win a half hour research update/conversation with JDRF CEO Jeffrey Brewer. Well, a week ago Jeffrey moved on from that post. I wanted to give JDRF leadership some time to settle in before I brought this up ... but I did last week and showing me true awesomeness from the start, they let me know that either Chairman of the Board John Brady (I adore him!), new CEO Derek Rapp or Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Richard Insel will be happy to do the call. So I will raffle the winner just after my LaCrosse ride and we will work out logistics then! If anyone is not happy about this and wants their donation refunded, please message me. But I think the call will be awesome -- imagine you get the chance with this new leadership to talk first hand about our goals and future!
