A mini review by me. . Anime: Psycho-Pass Genre: Action, Sci-Fi, Police Episodes: 22 Aired: Oct 12, 2012 to Mar 22, 2013 MAL Score: 8.591 Synopsis: In the future, it is possible to quantitatively measure a persons emotions, desires, and every inclination. In this way, it is also possible to measure a persons criminal tendency factor, which is used to judge criminals. This is the story of a team of policemen dedicated to maintaining public order. Some of them work in the Enforcement Division, responsible for the apprehension of criminals, while others belong to the Supervisory Division which oversees their colleagues in Enforcement. Plot and Story I can think of only one word that can describe the plot. Masterpiece. This plot is the best one that Ive seen so far. And the story is probably the best outcome of the plot. Given the plot, the story cannot be better than this. Everything is so organised and thoroughly though up. Well, I cant really say much without revealing spoilers. The pacing was pretty good. . Characters The characters showed a great example of creativity. The back story of the characters was also great. Makishima Shougo, Kogame Shinya and all other characters were produced really nicely. The character design caught my eyes. Character development was pretty cool. . Sounds The voice acting of this anime is one of the best in my opinion. Inspector Akanes voice acting was unbelievably cool and perfect. Voices of each character matched their personality and facial expressions. The opening themes and ending themes were totally epic, as expected from Egoist. The background musics were great and perfect for the situations. The overall sound system was really great. . Art The artworks and graphics design is my favourite. I really liked the art style of this anime. The characters art were the best of all anime. Well, I didnt like the eyes of most of the female characters. But overall its artwork was great and pretty detailed. This kind of cool art is pretty hard to come by. . Animation The smooth animation of this anime charmed me. I became a fan of the animation. Its too damn good. The animation brought the characters to life. It perfectly co-operated with the story. The animation of the opening and ending themes were just perfect. . Favourites Its not possible to point out all the things that I liked about this anime. What amused me most are the first and last impressions. My heart skipped a beat each time. I really enjoyed the detailed work. These pushed this anime to my top list. . Negative Penalties Well, there is nothing as a perfect anime. While watching Psycho-Pass, I felt like if something went missing. That something is feelings. All the main characters were mentally strong. As a result, the anime lacked feelings. Nothing made by man is flawless. This anime also has some flaws, which are not easily noticeable. One of the flaws I found is that, not a single child (under 12 years old) was shown in all the 22 episodes, which is quite unnatural. . Overall Overall, Psycho-Pass is a great anime. Its a must watch. Beware of some gore scenes although they arent much gorish either. Well, Id easily rate it over 8 out of 10. . Enough babbling. Now go and watch the anime if you havent and have a great lifetime experience.
