A minor Indy Ref debate today sparked the comment My parents say that the only reason artists and musicians want independence is to keep their funding. In my head I imagined myself rolling around in a big pile of Creative Scotland money guzzling champagne and using £50 notes to light cigarettes rolled in £100 notes. Yeah... that frivolous arts funding that helps pays for frivolous things like Fèis Rois, Tinto Summer School, Fèis Spè and (insert your favourite brilliant arts organisation here).
