A mixed day at Whilton Mill yesterday, An average qualifying became a frustrating one when Zack was demoted from a promising 3rd to 27th on the grid. A storming 1st race GFT showed why theyre in the business they are with Zack setting the fastest lap by 3 tenths and finishing 3rd, 6 seconds clear of 4th. The second race started great with more consistent fastest laps being set and progress to from 12th to 7th when rain hit, and hit hard. Negotiating the first wet laps well produced more progress to 3rd but back markers played their part in a solid 5th place finish. Not bad but we think wins were definitely achievable. Well done to all the Oxford Brookes teams though, qualifying 1st, 9th and 11th all making the cut to not only qualification for the BUKC but the premier class! Also top marks for the most lean ever recorded on camera as seen in the picture below.
