A morality question. I was in Tescos a couple of weeks ago and had an accident that cut me on the head quite badly. Id leaned right in and back to where the last milk was on one of those tall metal milk cages and I stood up a little too quickly and caught my head on a sharp corner of the case. Unfortunately it was on exactly the same spot on the top of my head as Id had a small surgical procedure a couple of days previously. It hurt like hell and started to bleed quite a bit. The staff at the store were terrific and helpful, courteous and kind. I took the decision that although I could no doubt have made a claim I didnt choose to do so as I felt it was a genuine accident. Many people have since expressed their surprise, bordering on shock that I havent made a claim. My head has now nearly healed up. I think its sad that we live in such a cynical world, or perhaps Im just daft, what do you think?
