A much warmer and more humid day. Before the noon hour, temps at several locations have already climbed above 70°..pared to yesterdays high of 59°. Moisture surging in from the Gulf and an upper low off to our west places us in prime position for showers today. It doesnt look like a deluge all day, but on and off showers this the afternoon and evening. A break in the rain tonight and early tomorrow with most of Saturdays rain moving in with a cold front and not until the late afternoon/early evening. The Storm Prediction Center has increased the possibility of severe weather on Saturday. Most, if not all, storms will be right along the front. Turning cooler by Sunday and most of next week looks chilly. January could shape up to be a colder month with hints of East coast troughs developing. Follow me on Twitter: @CFranklinFOX8
