A musical instrument is a sentient being. Acoustic, electro-mechanical, or electronic. It has a similar vibration to a horse, cat, or a dog etc.. depending on the instrument. Each individual instrument has its own unique personality as well. You have to develop a relationship and a trust with it. There is symbiotic energy exchange between the player and the instrument. The instrument has knowledge to share with the player and vice versa. And no, this has nothing to do with the acid that I dropped many years ago. I swear!
