A new Facebook page has been started related to STORIS. There are a couple of us who were part of the STORIS Museum effort who are working to put together this page and a new Web site related to the ship. While this effort is not officially associated with the STORIS Museum, we want to repost a lot of the material that was once posted on the museum FB page and Web site. More importantly, these sites will serve as venues to disseminate and interpret the various materials that I am currently fighting to get from the US government. The agencies that I have submitted FOIA requests to are throwing up roadblocks, trying to prevent me from getting the materials. They are either charging outrageous fees or finding very lame excuses to try to deny the fee waivers requested on behalf of the ship, the nonprofits who were trying to save her and the people who are looking for accountability.
