A new illustrated history of Warren Engine Co. No. 1 will be available at its 150th anniversary open house at the Warren Engine Co. No. 1 museum at Carson City’s Fire Station 1 at 777 South Stewart street on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. To 3 p.m. The history includes historic photos of Warren Engine Co. No. 1 as well as of its rival companies, Carson Hook & Ladder Co. No. 1, Curry engine Co. No. 2 and Swift Engine Co. No. 3, as well as a listing of past and present members of Warren Engine Co. No. 1 and the date they joined the company. The family event will include tours of Fire Station No. 1, an interactive fire safe/fire prevention trailer as well as the museum open house. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event.
