A new study from Australia shows that sitting 8 hours per day (working, driving, TV) increases your risk of dying by 15%. Sitting 11 hours per day increases the risk of dying by 40%. The scary part of the study was that even those who work out at the start or end of the day and then sit still had the same high risk. The solution is to get up and move around every hour or so, to keep blood and lymph moving.
